PARC Resources has worked with Homestead Youth and Family Services in Pendleton, OR for three decades. Beginning, in 1996, they decided that their facilities no longer fit their needs and did not support the delivery of the full range of services they needed to offer their clients. From that core need, PARC Resources was able to help the organization through a strategic planning process that identified specific steps needed to expand the building. Along the way PARC was instrumental in securing the Conditional Use Permit, and preliminary engineering followed by fundraising. Through a combination of low-interest loans and grants Homestead more than doubled its square footage and successfully executed their strategic plan.

In the years since the expansion was completed, PARC has been a tool for the organization, through two executive directors, whenever Homestead needed additional help. These projects included raising funds to support a new in-home therapy service, purchase of additional property, and raising funds for additional projects including most recently a street vacation in order to allow a covered basketball court. PARC Resources is a tool in people’s toolbox that they can come back to time and time again. We are here to help our client’s community development visions become a reality.

“I enthusiastically recommend PARC, they were instrumental in not only making our new building possible, but in reinvigorating Homestead Youth & Family Services and allowing us to move forward.” – Elisa Doebler-Irvine, Ph.D., Executive Director
