The Harney County Senior and Community Services Center

“I don’t think everyone realizes exactly all that was accomplished through the grant writing fot the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center. The first plan was to add on 2,400 ft2 to the existing building and with PARC Resources recommendation we also added a new heating system throughout the old part of the building that included new heat pumps and new duct work for an over 9,000 ft2 building, new siding throughout, and complete furnishings for the entire new building. The total funds acquired through grant writing was $447,466. What a phenomenal experience to work with PARC Resources on this project.”

– Project manager, Verna Pettyjohn

“As a new administrator, I learned a lifetime of lessons on this project and feel that your professionalism and leadership throughout the process was invaluable to our agency, our project and me as the new kid.”

– Executive Director, Angela Lamborn

John Day Fire Station

“We worked with PARC for approximately two years for raise funds for the John Day Fire Station. In that time PARC met with our city council, citizen’s advisory committee and city personnel. They developed the feasibility study for Capital Campaign planning for grant writing and prepared ‘case for support’ white paper summary.  PARC assisted the city through the municipal bond process and wrote grant applications for Federal, State and private foundations. We couldn’t have completed this project without the help of PARC Resources; with their assistance the City received $470,000 in grants and $1.2 million in general obligation bonds.”

– Peggy Gray, Former City Manager of John Day

New Hope for Eastern Oregon Animals

“PARC skillfully led us, New Hopre for Eastern Oregon Animals, through the steps in developing our first Strategic Plan and Capital Campaign Plan. In each case they took a strong interest in the needs of our organization and providing a product that reflected that knowledge and their experience.”

– Richard Haines, New Hope for Eastern Oregon Animals

Athena’s Gem Theater

“The story of the Athena’s Gem Theatre restoration has been a long one. Our group, Athena’s Gem, Inc., first contracted with the Weston PARC office in 2007 as we were assembling our ‘feasibility study.’ The relationship with the PARC team has continued since that time as we struggled to put legs under the project. There have been many twists and turns in the story of saving this 114-year-old facility. PARC has worked with the Gem every step of the way to this point and written every major foundation grant application. It is now apparent that the campaign will be a success and that the story of our effort will have a happy ending.”

– Rob McIntyre, Athena’s Gem, Inc.
